What? TEDxIB@York is an educational event that will feature 12 world class speakers giving short talks on a wide variety of topics.  The York School, an independent school in Toronto which teaches the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, is inviting other IB schools from across the world to send students to attend this incredible event.

Where? The event is being held at the The York School’s Upper School Campus in Toronto.

When? November 18, 2011

Who? 350 attendees; half of the seats will be open to general application and half of the attendees will be International Baccalaureate (IB) high school students, mostly within Ontario.  The event will also be live streamed to thousands more viewers at IB schools around the world.

Why? TED is a proven model to share Ideas Worth Spreading which can effect change in the world.  There’s nowhere better to start than with exemplary IB students who will be our leaders of tomorrow.

How? With your help!  We are depending on our sponsors to make this not-for-profit event possible.
